#MakarSankranti, Bihu, Pongal, Lohri and Bhogi are the only festivals whose date never clashes with that of the Gregorian calendar, always falling on #14th January. The evening before that i.e. 13th of January, is celebrated as #Lohri in #Panjab

In the southern parts, #Bhogi and #Pongal are celebrated with fantastic artwork in beautiful #kolams and #rangolis, making and eating lip smacking "#Shakkara_Pongal" with coconut milk & jaggery. In the East, #Bihu is celebrated vibrantly and while in other parts, Sankranti is celebrated with gur, til ladddos, khichari and lots of prayers

#14जनवरी को पड़ते हैँ । उससे पहले वाली शाम यानी 13 जनवरी को #पँजाब में लोहड़ी के रूप में मनाया जाता है

दक्षिणी भागों में, # भोगी और # पोंगल सुंदर #कोलम और #रंगोली में बनाने के साथ शुरू किया जाता है, नारियल के दूध और गुड़ के साथ स्वादिष्ट

#शक्कर_पोंगल बनाया और खाया जाता है

पूर्व में मुख्यतः आसाम में यही उत्सव #बिहू के रूप में उत्साहपूर्वक मनाया जाता है और देश के अन्य भागों में मकर संक्रांति को गुड़ , तिल के लड्डू, खिचड़ी बनाये जाते हैं और बहुत सारी प्रार्थनाओं के साथ इस त्यौहार को मनाया जाता है
